This is, hands down, THE BEST BLAZER I've EVER had in my life. Yes, it's gotta be my most expensive piece of clothing, next to my winter coat, but this is a GREAT investment piece. And I'm not the kind of girl who gets something, loves it for two days then buys something else. No. This blazer, is tailored by a fit genius. The style is great, the fabric is beautiful and warm. An instant classic. The fit is really like an equestrian blazer, so yes, when buttoned, the style shows the belly a bit but the bottom seam from front to back is just divine. Slimming and gracious. If you are looking for the best fitting jacket ever, Smythe is the way to go. I would also give 5 stars to Eluxe for their fast shipping and handling, I ordered my jacket 2 days ago and went with the free shipping and there it is, two days later. I'm in love with my new blazer! I saw it in a store as the were unpacking their newest fall styles and I went on vacation soon after. When I got back home, I went to the store to buy it and they were sold out. Thank you Eluxe!

This is the first Smythe Blazer I have purchased and it is absolutely beautiful. It is so well made and the detailing is beautfully done. I usually take a size 2 or 4 depending on the cut. I ordered a size 4 and it was perfect. I was so impressed by this jacket I also ordered and received the black quintessential blazer wonderfully done as well. I would also like to say that I spoke to Jennifer one of eLuxe personal shoppers, for help and she was so helpful in answering my questions. Great Job! and you are Canadian selling a great Canadian product!

I really loved how this jacket looked online and hoped that it would fit as well as my other Smythe jackets.
Unfortunately, I ended up returning the jacket as it was a bit shorter at the front than I would have liked. Also, I ordered a size 2, which is what I usually wear. This blazer seems to fit looser than the other sized 2 Smythe blazers that I own. I think it would have looked better if I had worn a thicker sweater underneath.
I'm really glad that eLuxe has such a great return policy that allowed to me to try on the jacket risk free!
